FCC should leave multicast must-carry to Congress, Stevens says
June 7th, 2006Senate Commerce Committee Chairman Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) suggested today that Congress, not the FCC, should decide whether local stations get additional channel slots on cable systems for their new multicast offerings.
